I grew up in a small town in North Carolina, but my dreams were anything but small. After graduating college, I moved to Nashville to experience the city life. I had a few jobs that kept me afloat, but I knew they were only temporary. Then, the unthinkable happens. COVID wreaks havoc on everyone and everything. Like so many others, I found myself at a crossroads, unsure of what the future held but determined to make it work.
I set out on a mission to establish a career that would allow me to work on my own terms. I threw myself into researching and exploring various opportunities. I became inspired by the stories of badass business owners who had successfully paved their own paths and found fulfillment in their work.
As I started researching and exploring different opportunities, I realized something: many well-known companies, especially those with luxury products or services, were not reflecting their worth on social media.
I noticed this gap, and that I could fill it.
You don’t have to worry about trying to figure out how to elevate your social media or manage it on your own. I can help you craft a social media presence that embodies your brand, so you can finally start showing it off proudly.
LXRY has been more than just a professional pursuit—it’s been a way for me to express myself freely that has led to experiencing healing and transformation. The aftereffects of trauma can manifest themselves in many forms. For me, I lost my spark. I was a dull and lifeless version of who I used to be. In the past, I learned that the safest option for me was to keep my head down, stay quiet, and do what everyone else was doing. Fuck that.
I tried to fit the mold, but like most of my life, I didn't. That chapter no longer felt authentic to me. LXRY became an outlet where I could color outside the lines and experience boldness like never before. I was able to get paint all over my clothes and be as messy as I wanted to be. That’s when I realized what freedom truly felt like. What confidence felt like. What safety felt like.
I choose to channel that pain into purpose every day. I refuse to waste any more time or reflect the hate others tried to project onto me. LXRY became my rebellion, and it gave me the confidence to share it with you.
I hope you'll stick around. Welcome to LXRY.
