EAST COAST
Raised in a small town in North Carolina, I've always had big dreams and a burning desire for personal freedom. Life has thrown its fair share of challenges my way, but it was hitting rock bottom that truly propelled me forward in my career. When COVID blindsided the world, it left me scrambling to figure out how I was going to make ends meet. Unemployment seemed like my saving grace, but little did I know that the universe had a twisted sense of timing. The funds didn't come when they were supposed to. In fact, they didn't come until a full year later. I realized that I couldn't rely on external factors to dictate my fate; I had to take matters into my own hands.
Here's the thing...hitting rock bottom can be a blessing in disguise. In that moment, I made a conscious decision to make serious changes in my life. I set out on a mission to establish a career that would allow me to work on my own terms, with the people I truly connected with, around the world. I threw myself into researching and exploring various opportunities. I became inspired by the stories of women who had successfully paved their own paths and found fulfillment in their work.
In the past four years, I've crafted my skill as a social media manager (wearing many other hats), working with remarkable individuals and I wouldn't change a damn thing. 🎱
